Classic meets contemporary for big thinking consultants.

THE BACKGROUND

Prominence is a business transformation consultancy with a vision to see their clients rise to prominence.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

The agency team quickly determined that Prominence needed more than a great website alone. Their business and brand had evolved and needed a contemporary, better-articulated presence.

Our strategy was to position Prominence as the team that thinks bigger and asks more questions to guide its clients to greater success.

Central to Prominence Consulting methodology is the practice of getting the right people in the room – people who ask insightful questions – with a view to shaping the future of their client’s businesses.

To reflect this critical element, we incorporated a question mark “P” to the new Prominence wordmark – celebrating the firm’s questioning approach.

To extend this central idea, we developed a series of pivotal questions as part of the brand narrative.  Questions that represent the challenges faced by the firm’s clients and the solutions they help them uncover.

THE VISUAL IDEA

Visually, our objective is always brand differentiation.  The question mark certainly sets Prominence apart from it’s competitors.

Consulting is a business category where brands commonly use blues and yellows. In this space brands often fall victim to stock photography showing dynamic teams working in minimalist office settings.

In addition to the question mark being incorporated into the new logo mark, our design featured a classical look incorporating a rounded serif font paired with black and white photography.

Coral, in a refreshed colour palette added a contemporary touch and boldness.
